Thuisarts' information comes from associations of doctors (including the general practitioners' association, the NHG) and other healthcare providers in the Netherlands. These associations research carefully what the best treatments and advice are. They write this down in guidelines. Doctors and healthcare providers use these in their work.
Thuisarts uses these guidelines to create reliable and clear information about illness and health. If a guideline changes, the new information also appears on Thuisarts.

The GGD provides vaccinations up to 26 years of age. If older, you can get yourself vaccinated at your own expense at a.o: city-clinic-vaccinations.co.uk, vaccinationopmaat.nl and homevaccination.co.uk

For patients who need regular check-ups, we have partnered with the company Viduet. Together with them, we ensure that your appointment is timely and well prepared. They will send you e-mail messages on behalf of our practice. Such a message could be, for example, an invitation to complete a medical questionnaire or a request for you to schedule an appointment with us. It is very nice for us if you comply with such a request.
If you do not yet have login details, please contact the practice to request them.
Yes, right! You can always call and be called back or schedule an appointment directly. This can also be done via the website. Your first contact is always with the GP. She will then determine with you what is an appropriate next step.
No unfortunately, given the growing list of duties towards us as GPs, we have decided not to take over this care. We refer you to the GGD for this, Prepzorg or https://prepnu.nl/artsen/
